Conference Overview
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons interested in research from a variety of disciplines – including faculty, residents, fellows and private practitioners – should attend this conference.
The 2026 CSIOMS Conference will take place at the Daniel M. Laskin Institute for OMS Education and Innovation at AAOMS headquarters.
Developed by the AAOMS Committee on Research Planning and Technology Assessment (CRPTA), the program will showcase the latest technologies and research from a variety of disciplines affecting the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Topics will include:
- Role of AI in Today’s OMS Practice and Research
- The Future of Immunotherapy
- Patient-Specific Facial Reconstructive Methods
- Applications of AI in Clinical Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Receptions and Networking
All attendees are invited to a complimentary poster and exhibit reception at AAOMS headquarters on the evening of Feb. 28. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and beverage breaks between sessions on Feb. 28 and breakfast on March 1.
Conference Facilities
The Daniel M. Laskin Institute for OMS Education and Innovation hosts meetings and hands-on sessions, including the CSIOMS conference, the AAOMS Clinical Trials Methods Course and modules of the AAOMS National Simulation Program – Office-Based Emergency Airway Management (OBEAM).

Weather and Meeting Attire
Business attire is requested for all conference sessions. Attendees are encouraged to dress in layers, as meeting room temperatures may vary throughout the day. The average high temperature in Chicago for late February to early March is around 40 degrees.
