2026 Annual Meeting – FAQs

Planning and Registration

Answer:

To support the needs and preferences of attendees, two registration opportunities are offered:

  • In-person in Seattle with on-demand access includes attendance at non-ticketed, in-person sessions and all on-demand access offerings until Jan. 31, 2027.
  • On-demand access only includes recorded and on-demand educational sessions until Jan. 31, 2027. No sessions will be livestreamed.

On Sept. 28, on-demand clinical and practice management offerings will be accessible via the online platform until Jan. 31, 2027. In-person sessions that are recorded will be added to the on-demand content by Oct. 19 and will remain available to all registrants until Jan. 31, 2027.

No, in-person sessions will not be available via livestream. Many in-person sessions will be recorded and provided as on-demand content after the meeting from Oct. 19 to Jan. 31, 2027.

Participants will be able to access the online meeting platform until Jan. 31, 2027.

For a listing of recorded and on-demand sessions – as well as those that will be in-person only – visit AAOMS.org/AMprogram. Not all in-person sessions will be recorded.

In-person recorded content will be added to the on-demand program and accessible beginning Oct. 19 and available through Jan. 31, 2027.

Didactic clinical courses and practice management sessions do not require tickets. Seats for these sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Access to in-person recordings will be available online from Oct. 19 to Jan. 31, 2027.

Paid tickets are required for the Anesthesia Update, Current Concepts and Controversies in Head and Neck Surgery and Reconstruction, and Introduction to Minimally Invasive Diagnostic and Operative Temporomandibular Joint Arthroscopy preconference sessions; hands-on sessions and workshops; and Office-Based Emergency Airway Management (OBEAM) module sessions. Tickets also are required for the President’s Event.

Separate registration is required for the OMS Coding Essentials: Medical and Dental Procedures and Diagnoses course being held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. Paid tickets are required for this workshop.

View the online program at AAOMS.org/AMprogram for a complete list of ticketed sessions and events.

If you registered for a paid course, the ticket is included in your registration packet.

A paid ticket guarantees a seat in the specified course.

Available tickets can be purchased through advanced registration. After Sept. 24, tickets (if still available) will be sold only on-site at the AAOMS Attendee Registration Center in the convention center.
