About Michael Beschloss
Michael Beschloss is a presidential historian and best-selling author of 10 books, including his most recent Presidents of War. His notable works include a two-volume study of Lyndon B. Johnson’s secretly recorded tapes; The Conquerors: Roosevelt, Truman and the Destruction of Hitler’s Germany, 1941-1945; and Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy. His career includes positions as a historian at the Smithsonian Institution, a scholar at the University of Oxford and a senior fellow of the Annenberg Foundation.
