All residents enrolled in an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency are automatically a resident member of AAOMS. The Resident Organization of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ROAAOMS™) was established in 1994 to: 1) provide OMS residents a forum for discussion of resident issues, 2) familiarize residents with organized dentistry and medicine and 3) support residents in their development as future leaders of the specialty. Through ROAAOMS, residents become acquainted with the specialty and the Association, share common experiences and glean insights from colleagues around the country.
