AAOMS will allow only one 30-day extension of a registrant’s access to an online coding course upon written request up to 10 days prior to expiration of the registrant’s access. Once an extension is granted, the username and password will expire upon completion of the online course OR at the end of the 30-day extension period. This re-registration fee applies only to registrations made within the last year.
Non-member registration for the online courses is final. No refunds will be granted for online courses. No deadline extensions for online courses will be granted to dental professionals other than AAOMS members and their staff.
Continuing Education Credit
All coding courses are approved for continuing medical and dental education credit. Continuing education credit also is available for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) coding certification. It is the intent and stated policy of the AAOMS Committee on Healthcare Policy, Coding and Reimbursement (CHPCR) that doctors are ultimately responsible for accurate coding. Therefore, it is strongly encouraged doctors participate or attend the courses with their coding and billing staff.
Visit AAOMS.org/CEonline for course details and registration.
Registration Fees
Allied staff member pricing is available only to AAOMS fellows and members’ staff who have applied and been approved for AAOMS membership. Registration rates are based on the registrant’s membership status. Memberships are individual.
Registration fees for the courses are per person. Online courses cannot be taken as a group. Separate registration is required for each person taking the course. Usernames and passwords for the online courses may not be shared.
