Dental Implant Conference – FAQs

Planning and Registration

To support the needs and preferences of attendees, two registration opportunities are offered:

  • In-person conference with online access includes attendance at general sessions as well as access to online recordings until Feb. 7. Didactic preconference courses are available for an additional fee.
  • Online-only access includes livestreamed and recorded general sessions until Feb. 7. Access to livestreamed and recorded preconference sessions are available for an additional fee.

Recorded in-person content will be added to the online program and accessible to registrants by Dec. 9.

No. The conference general sessions and didactic preconference sessions (for an additional fee) are available via livestream. Participants can view the online program for the full list of livestreamed sessions. The general sessions also will be recorded and provided as archived content Dec. 9 to Feb. 7.

Participants will be able to access the online conference platform and all recorded sessions until 11:59 p.m. CST Feb. 7. No extensions can be granted.

Paid tickets are required for the preconference program. If you registered for a preconference session, the ticket is included in each registration packet. Available tickets can be purchased through advance registration. After Dec. 3, tickets (if still available) will be sold only onsite at the AAOMS Attendee Registration Center in the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk.

Conference general sessions do not require tickets.

Access to the livestreamed sessions will be available to registrants only at AAOMS.org/DICprogram by logging in with their email address and eight-digit registration/member ID number.

Yes. To add tickets to an existing Dental Implant Conference registration online, visit AAOMS.org My Account and follow the instructions at AAOMS.org/AddRegistration

Registrants also may add a spouse and/or child badge to an existing Annual Meeting registration by following the instructions at AAOMS.org/AddRegistration

Tickets (if still available) will be sold onsite at the AAOMS Attendee Registration Center in the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. Because ticketed sessions and events have limited attendance, early registration is recommended.

Registered attendees who need a replacement badge or tickets should visit the AAOMS Attendee Registration Center in the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk onsite.

Online Access Information and Requirements

Each attendee will be sent platform access instructions to the email account used to register for the conference. On or after Dec. 5, registrants can visit AAOMS.org/DICprogram and log in with their email address and unique eight-digit registration/member ID number. An account may be logged in to only one device at a time. Sharing account access is prohibited.

The online conference platform is compatible with laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. For optimum access, disconnect from a VPN (if possible). A strong internet connection of 1.4 Mbps is recommended.

AAOMS highly recommends accessing the site through Google Chrome for all conference platform features.

Testing your device is an effective way to ensure you are ready to access meeting content. The platform provides a system check tool that runs a series of checks on your computer and web browsers to receive confirmation your device is suitable to use the full potential of the platform.

If you have connection or audio issues while attending a session, check your internet connection, refresh your browser or re-enter the session. Also try checking the speaker audio icon or laptop volume. AAOMS highly recommends using the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Attendees can access recorded and on-demand sessions at AAOMS.org/DICprogram Dec. 9 to Feb. 7, 2025.

Attendees can access sessions by logging in at AAOMS.org/DICprogram using their email address and eight-digit registration/member ID number. Beginning Dec. 9, all recorded sessions will be available. Access to the conference platform ends at 11:59 p.m. CST Feb. 7, 2025.

Online access begins Dec. 5. Those who register after Dec. 5 will gain immediate access.

Yes. The conference includes a Virtual Exhibit Hall at AAOMS.org/DICvxh with exhibitor contact information, product categories and booth numbers.

Visit AAOMS.org/MyCE to claim CE and evaluate sessions. You will need your eight-digit registration/member ID number found in the preconference email or your AAOMS.org profile.

Onsite Information

Wi-Fi will be available on the Ballroom and Exhibit Hall levels of the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk on Dec. 5 to 7. No password is required.

The Dental Implant Conference Mobile App will be available in mid-November. When it is available, users of Apple or Android devices may visit the Apple App Store or Google Play from the device and search for AAOMS Events.

Claim CE credit for sessions you attend via the mobile app or at AAOMS.org/MyCE. Sessions can be evaluated until March 7, 2025.

On the website, log in to the system using your email address and eight-digit registration/member ID. If you are evaluating a paid ticketed session, you must be registered for that session in order to complete the evaluation and receive credit. Questions? Email AAOMS Continuing Education staff
