The Biden Administration announced on March 14 the White House Challenge to Save Lives from Overdose, a nationwide call-to-action to encourage training on and access to lifesaving overdose reversal medications such as naloxone, which are now offered without a prescription, over-the-counter. More specifically, the challenge encourages leaders in the business, education and healthcare settings, among others, to provide training to employees on opioid overdose reversal medications, keep the medications in first aid kits and distribute the medications to employees and customers so they might save a life at work, home or in their communities.
