Pause on federal student loans extended through August

The Biden Administration announced April 6 another extension of federal student loan payments, interest accrual and collection efforts until Aug. 31. All three were scheduled to resume May 1. This deferment is the sixth extension since the COVID-19 pandemic began two years ago.
