HHS and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) launched a public Request for Information (RFI) aimed at identifying outdated or unnecessary healthcare regulations. This effort supports President Trump’s Executive Order 14192 and includes a “10-to-1” policy: for every new regulation, at least 10 existing regulations must be rescinded. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. emphasized that cutting red tape will help reduce costs and allow providers to focus more on patient care. Stakeholders are invited to submit deregulatory ideas through a dedicated portal on Regulations.gov through July 14.
