Massachusetts General Hospital OMFS residency program

Opportunity for one year of additional training in hospital-based OMFS residency program starting July 1, 2020. Sponsored by Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. This advanced training opportunity is a year of hospital-based oral and maxillofacial surgery centered at MGH, a Level I trauma center in Boston. The year will include a four-month rotation to Boston Children’s Hospital which will focus on pediatric reconstructive, orthognathic, and cleft/craniofacial surgery. Eight months will be spent at MGH and will focus on focus on both adult and pediatric reconstructive, orthognathic, and TMJ surgery, facial trauma and complex dental implantology. Many research and teaching opportunities will be available. This is an excellent opportunity for a current OMFS resident seeking to continue on an academic track or receive more training in major OMFS. Candidates must now be completing or have completed a CODA-approved OMS residency. Massachusetts dental and/or medical licensure is required. Willis Knighton Health System

Under the directorship of Dr. GE Ghali, the Willis Knighton Health System and its Department of Oral & Craniomaxillofacial Surgery is pleased to announce two openings for a two-year post-residency fellowship beginning July 1, 2023. These two fellows would join the two senior fellows in a high-volume, comprehensive fellowship in the full scope of both craniofacial and head & neck surgery. The craniofacial component includes the management of congenital deformities, including primary cleft lip and palate deformities, as well as more complex conditions requiring transcranial or skull base surgery. Another major emphasis of the fellowship includes the management of head & neck tumor patients including ablative, robotic (TORS), endocrine and microvascular reconstruction procedures. The fellows will collaborate with both the Craniofacial/ Cleft and Tumor Board teams.
