Conference Overview

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons interested in research from a variety of disciplines – including faculty, residents, fellows and private practitioners – should attend the 2023 CSIOMS Conference.

The event will take place at the newly renamed Daniel M. Laskin Institute for OMS Education and Innovation.

Developed by the AAOMS Committee on Research Planning and Technology Assessment (CRPTA), the program will showcase the latest technologies and research from a variety of disciplines affecting the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Topics will include:

  • Advances in orthognathic surgery
  • Medical management of surgical disease
  • Oral Abstract sessions
  • Digital workflow for dentoalveolar reconstruction

Receptions and Networking

All attendees are invited to a complimentary poster and exhibit reception at AAOMS headquarters on the evening of March 11. Enjoy lunch and beverage breaks between sessions March 11 and 12.

Weather and Meeting Attire

Business attire is requested for all conference sessions. Attendees are encouraged to dress in layers, as meeting room temperatures may vary throughout the day. The average March temperature in Chicago is 45 degrees.
