Day on the Hill – Congressional Scheduling Information

How are attendee’s congressional meetings scheduled?

AAOMS is using Advocacy Associates, a congressional scheduling service, to schedule appointments with each attendee’s constituent congressional offices based on the home address listed with AAOMS. Registrants will attend meetings in the offices of their constituent members of Congress with any other registered attendees from their state.

Can I also meet with the congressional office that represents the district that my practice is located?

Attendees were given the option when registering also to meet with the office of the U.S. House member who represents their business address, if different from the attendee’s home address. Advocacy Associates will schedule meetings for those attendees who indicated as such during the registration process. Email [email protected] no later than March 7 to request such a meeting if you did not previously indicate it during the registration process.

When will my schedule be available?

Attendees will be able to preview their meeting schedules, including meeting locations, in the Day on the Hill mobile app no later than March 21.

Can my congressional schedule change?

Yes. Schedules are considered complete 48 hours prior to the event; however, congressional appointment times are subject to change right up to, and including, March 26. Attendees will be notified directly by Advocacy Associates of any changes as soon as they occur.

Can I meet with a member of Congress who is not my representative?

Most congressional offices will only meet with their constituents. Email [email protected] no later than March 7 if you wish to meet with a non-constituent representative. Note: AAOMS cannot guarantee congressional offices will be receptive to the appointment request.
