AAOMS hires new Associate Executive Director

December 14, 2016, Rosemont, Ill. – Jolene Kremer has joined the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) as the new Associate Executive Director for Communications and Publications.

In her new role, Kremer will be responsible for the AAOMS national Informational Campaign that promotes the association’s 9,000 members as the experts in face, mouth and jaw surgery through public service announcements, an award-winning consumer website, procedure-specific videos and downloadable information. In addition, she will oversee all media communications as well as the development and production of all publications and multimedia products.

Kremer has more than 30 years of experience in public and media relations, marketing and publications management at several organizations. In her most recent position, she served as Director of PR, Communications and Marketing at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, where she launched a national award-winning branding campaign and developed new publications and media initiatives.

“We’re excited to welcome Jolene Kremer to the AAOMS team,” said AAOMS Executive Director Scott Farrell, MBA, CPA. “Her experience and knowledge will help strengthen our outreach initiatives to members, consumers, media and referring physicians.”

Kremer, of Shorewood, Ill., holds a B.A. in journalism from Northern Illinois University.
