About the Research Summit

The 2015 Research Summit Program is sponsored by the AAOMS, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation (OMSF), the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS). The program is developed by the Committee on Research Planning and Technology Assessment and is comprised of three sessions: Virtual Surgery, Regenerative Medicine, and Management of Benign Maxillofacial Pathology.

It is designed to bring world-class researchers together from various disciplines to review cutting edge technologies and biomedical science that could impact our specialty and healthcare over the next 10-20 years. It is our goal that this meeting will energize those in attendance who may be unaware of these emerging technologies and science, possibly leading to fruitful collaborations between clinicians and basic science researchers.
