AAOMS Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

AAOMS takes the health and safety of our members and staff seriously. Our top priority is the well-being of our members and other attendees at our events. We also know the decision to attend or not is a personal choice based on a variety of factors.

We are actively monitoring developments related to the novel coronavirus as it pertains to upcoming Association-sponsored events. There are currently no plans to cancel or postpone any upcoming events, including our Day on the Hill in Washington, D.C., March 24-25. We will continue to inform the membership of any changes given that this is a dynamic and evolving situation.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides a wealth of information for healthcare personnel concerning the coronavirus. The ADA has developed an excellent resource on its website providing access to pertinent CDC information for dentists: Infectious Diseases: 2019 Novel Coronavirus. AAOMS members are encouraged to review the information that is available.
