Events in the Exhibit Hall

More than 100 exhibitors will showcase the latest technology, products and services in the oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty Sept. 12 to 14 in the Exhibit Hall during the 2024 Annual Meeting. Connect with vendors, or drop in the Member Pavilion to meet with representatives from AAOMS Advocacy, AAOMS Store and Membership Services, ROAAOMS, IAOMS, OMS Foundation, OMSNIC, OMSPAC, Treloar & Heisel, Inc., and AAOMS Advantage partners.

Stop by the Exhibit Hall throughout the course of the three days to participate in:

  • Breaks in the Exhibit Hall – Explore the Exhibit Hall between sessions and catch up with colleagues.
  • AAOMSopoly – Play the mobile app game by scanning QR codes at participating booths and answering multiple-choice questions. Answer correctly for a chance to win one of many prizes available.
  • AAOMS Block Party Pavilion  – Check out the pavilion between sessions or at the end of the day to meet colleagues or play classic board games, Skee-Ball, basketball Pop-A-Shot or  golf simulator. 
  • Industry Symposiums – Keep up-to-date on the latest developments in the field with exhibitor-hosted morning sessions Sept. 12 and 13.
  • Eat, Drink and Be Industry-Educated sessions – Join AAOMS supporters Sept. 12 and 13 for Breakfast and Learn, Lunch and Learn as well as Snack and Learn events to learn about various topics and technologies.
  • Happy Hour in the Hall – Eat, drink and mingle with exhibitors in the hall following the conclusion of sessions in the afternoon Sept. 13.
  • Career Fair – Find the right match at the Career Fair hosted by CareerLine and AAOMS at 3 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 13. Job-seekers looking for new opportunities are encouraged to bring resumes.
AAOMSopoly

Get ready for AAOMSopoly – a mobile app game in the Annual Meeting Exhibit Hall where exploration meets interactive fun and rewards. Keep an eye out for QR codes scattered throughout the Exhibit Hall at participating booths, or consult the AAOMS Event app or program for a comprehensive list. Each scan with a smartphone unlocks a multiple-choice question. Answer the question correctly for a shot at one of numerous prizes. Scan every QR code and answer all the questions correctly to enter a grand prize drawing for a chance to win big prizes such as free registration to the 2025 Annual Meeting or the 2025 Dental Implant Conference.

AAOMSopoly mobile app game rules

All registered, in-person attendees of the 2024 Annual Meeting in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.,  are eligible to participate in the AAOMSopoly mobile app game during the Exhibition Sept. 12 to 14. Gifts have been furnished by AAOMS and will be distributed after the Annual Meeting. By participating in this drawing, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules of this program: 

Official rules

1. The giveaway: Gifts furnished by AAOMS will be distributed by AAOMS after the 2024 Annual Meeting. All winners will be notified by email. 

2. No purchase necessary: No purchase, subscription or acceptance of obligation is necessary to enter this program. 

3. Eligibility requirements: All in-person attendees who are at least 18 years of age and officially registered for the 106th Annual Meeting, Scientific Sessions and Exhibition may participate. 

4. How to enter the giveaway: All in-person participants who play the mobile app game will enter the game by scanning participating companies’ QR codes within their booths and correctly answering multiple choice questions revealed through the code scan.

5. Number of entries: Only one entry per mobile app user.

6. Drawings: A winning participant can receive only ONE prize, and winners must verify their eligibility to AAOMS. 

7. Gifts and their value: Gifts will be furnished by AAOMS. Prizes are determined by AAOMS in its sole discretion, including free registration to the 2025 AAOMS Annual Meeting or 2025 Dental Implant Conference.  

8. Winner selection: The top 13 winners with the most participating exhibiting- company Booth visits and correctly answered questions will be selected for gifts. In the event of a tie, winners will be chosen at random through a drawing. The drawings will be held within 10 business days after the 2024 Annual Meeting concludes. Each winner must verify his/her eligibility to AAOMS. Decisions of AAOMS regarding the selection of a winner and all other aspects of the drawing shall be final and binding in all respects. A winner may waive the right to receive a gift. Gifts are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions are allowed by the winner. Gifts are subject to availability, and AAOMS reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value.

9. Winner notification: Winners need NOT be present at drawings to win. They will be notified by AAOMS after the conclusion of the 2024 Annual Meeting. If AAOMS cannot trace a winner after reasonable efforts have been made, that individual will relinquish the right to claim the item, and AAOMS may arrange for a replacement winning entry to be selected by AAOMS. Acceptance of a gift constitutes permission to use the winner’s name to inform members who the winners are. The winners will be announced on the AAOMS website, AAOMS.org, and through AAOMS communications as soon as practicable after they have been notified.

10. Restrictions on receiving a gift: The conduct of the AAOMSopoly game and the disposition of gifts are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. AAOMS in its absolute discretion may substitute the cash value for a gift or offer another item of equal or greater value. The winner may not substitute cash for the item.

11. Taxes and costs: The winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on gifts. AAOMS will comply with any tax reporting requirements related to the gifts. Participants also are responsible for any costs incurred by them in attending the Annual Meeting and entering this event. 

12. Release of Liability: By entering this contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless AAOMS and all officers, Trustees, members, employees and agents from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, demands, losses, damages, expenses or liabilities resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrant’s participation in the drawing and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won.

The decisions of AAOMS regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the program are final and binding in all respects.
