Jason Latimer – a science educator and World Champion of Magic – aims to challenge people’s understanding of science with his “Impossible Science LIVE” performance. From the foundation of all science and discovery to the leading edge of technology and innovation, this Keynote Lecture will demonstrate how the right question changes everything. Latimer will use a blend of science and the art of magic to make the impossible possible through science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

About Jason Latimer

Jason Latimer began his career at age 14 in the Magic Castle Junior program and went on to become one of only four Americans in history to be awarded magic’s highest honor: The Grand Prix World Champion of Magic. Latimer graduated from the UC Santa Barbara with degrees in mathematics and economics with a focus on applied physics. He created Impossible Science, a program that combines magic and science to inspire wonder in STEM education. His company, WonderFirst, is partnered with Sony Corp. to distribute Impossible Science to school districts, museums, PBS, NASA and the USA Science and Engineering Festival. He hosts the award-winning streaming series, “Impossible Science,” and co-hosted the Science Channel series, “SciJinks.” He also has received multiple magic awards, including series champion of BBC One’s “The Magicians,” the SARMOTI Award (named for Siegfried and Roy: Masters of the Impossible) and the Golden Grolla Award from the Masters of Magic.
