Office open with most staff currently working 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working remotely. This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to the office 3 days per week.

Overview

AAOMS is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Associate to provide a project management and strategic support to manage the award-winning branding campaign and the day-to-day activities of the Association’s marketing projects.

Areas of focus include implementing new and effective marketing approaches for the public-facing branding campaign; organizing tactics to help grow existing marketing plans and campaigns; and support the marketing needs across the Association.

The Marketing Associate also will work to develop, guide and manage marketing plans and programs in support of the Association’s key priorities and have responsibility for coordination and execution of marketing projects.

The Marketing Associate reports to the Integrated Marketing Manager.

Qualifications
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience
  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  •  Knowledge of social media and digital marketing, including SEO, SEM and website analytics
  •  High level of organization and attention to detail amid a deadline-driven environment
  •  Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  •  Video editing experience helpful
Key Accountabilities
  • Support the AAOMS Informational Campaign’s by executing assigned tactics.
  • Manage marketing campaigns for the Association’s programs and events, including the writing of promotional copy for marketing collateral (emails, magazine, social media) and video creation when appropriate.
  • Generate reports on marketing metrics and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Report on trends and statistics across all digital media platforms and social media.
  • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with social media content creation and dissemination.
  • Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned by Integrated Marketing Manager.
