The Committee on Residency Education and Training reviews and submits recommendations on the quality, criteria, and standards for acceptable education and training in ADA accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency programs for the acceptable practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery and on the acceptable education and training in oral and maxillofacial surgery for pre-doctoral students in ADA accredited schools of dentistry as well as post-residency fellowships.
